In the month of December, theatre company Primeiros Sintomas performs, at Teatro Viriato, the play Cyrano de Bergerac. Given its complexity concerning the number of characters needed to recreate the environments and contribute to the fast, polyphonic dialogues, the company aims to create a special body of extras made up of people - actors or non-actors - who are united in their love for the Theatre and their wish of participating in this venue.
With this goal in mind, Bruno Bravo (stage director) and Sérgio Delgado (musician) head a workshop for local community participants, in a clear attempt to integrate them into the show Cyrano de Bergerac, exploring voice and movement performance possibilities.
