WORKSHOP
Regarding the presentation of Édipo, Companhia do Chapitô´s latest creation, actor and stage director John Mowat invites the participants of this workshop to dip into some of the visual aspects of Theatre, through games and improvisation exercises. Not only does he propose to study, explore, create characters and throw them into various situations and contexts, but also that much can be gleaned by observing these same characters, their reactions and how they play off of each other.
A veteran collaborator of Companhia do Chapitô, John Mowat was born in London, where he occasionally lives. His Theatre debut came about in 1980, with a solo work. Since then, his comedies and performances, essentially visual in nature, have been staged all around.
