Born in 2010, Volcano Skin are a synonym of creation in total freedom: rock and non-rock, bass, guitar, drums, loops and loose electronica. Songs and non-songs, music that slips between the fingers so it can reach unknown destinies.Seeing them in concert is more than just expecting them to play their songs in front of an audience, it goes beyond transposition, unearthing the pulsating, singular and unexpected character of their music. They've recorded, recently, an EP that'll be released shortly.
César Zembla, Nuno Maltês and Sérgio Lemos created Volcano Skin after the end of their last project, The Great Lesbian Show, a veteran band of the indie/alternative Portuguese circuit that left a legacy of two studio albums and participated in three compilations.
