Journeying through a place where there are footprints with more than a thousand years old, stones that tell (hi)stories and archaeologists that, we find, have mostly doubts - for history is not an immutable science - is journeying through Vissaium. A performing arts show, produced by Teatro Viriato, that invites us to enjoy Viseu's rich archaeological heritage through a voyage that reflects the city's importance for the construction of the Portuguese national identity.
Travelling from Rua Direita to the roman wall at Rua Formosa, one will discover ancient stones, yet unexplored archaeological sites and artefacts that tell stories of a place that has always been shared by many people who have lived here and here left their mark.Notes: We recommend the use of comfortable shoes. In the eventuality of adverse weather conditions the show will be performed at Teatro Viriato.
