THEATER
Premiere
Vissaium* is a show, performed in transit through the city streets, where one can discover ancient stones, archaeological sites not yet explored and artefacts that tell the history of a place that has always been shared by many peoples who passed through here, lived here, and here left their mark. On this voyage one can meet a Roman soldier who sings the blues, a Lusitanian woman that can read stones, and a specialist in theories that need to be proven because, after all, archaeologists have primarily questions and History is not an exact and unchanging science.
Where was Alphonse I born? Is Cava de Viriato an Arab fortification? Come discover and speculate about the greatest enigmas of the living heritage of this city and listen to the brand new Viseu band Os Bárbaros.
* Name of this city in pre-Roman and Roman times, which gave origin to its modern day version: Viseu.
Note: We recommend the use of comfortable shoes.
