An alternative voyage that invites the public to reread and feel Museu Grão Vasco's artwork collection under a new light. This is the purpose of Visitas Dançadas, a project that brings Dance, speech and eye-contact/movement together in such a way as to give a different approach to History of Art, where technical information mixes and mingles with emotions.
Paintings and sculptures are commentated upon and interpreted by Leonor Barata, who guides the visitor on a journey through the exhibition rooms, allowing him/her to question the usual reading of museological spaces, and ponder on the public's relationship in the context of museums.
The project Visitas Dançadas was created in 2007 by choreographer and art historian, Aurélie Gandit, for the Museum of Fine Arts of Nancy.
