Peeping Tom, considered as one of the most respected European dance companies and known for always working the grotesque, exposes universes in which the logic of time and space are distorted. A characteristic that is inevitably reminiscent of the work of the director, David Lynch.
Vader is the first show of a family trilogy - Vader (father), Moeder (mother) and Kind (child). The father, the pivotal figure of the performance, lives in a nursing home, a place where he gives in to memories and transforms them into fantasies, hallucinations. Reality and daily life are adulterated by the main character in a scathing manner but also with humour and poetry in the movements that it performs. The public is catapulted into an intimate and eccentric universe that questions the human condition and the boundaries between sanity and madness.
