What is justice? What about injustice? "Uma Ideia de Justiça" brings, literally, these questions to the table - a table where we try to construct a notion of justice.
Around it are special chairs for everyone: those with long legs, those that can't stand still, those who are always present and even those that aren't usually invited. On top of the table, several props: for example, a fruit platter. Who else is hungry? Who hasn't had anything to eat yet? Who has the right to eat that fruit? Similar questions are raised when the subject on the table is one's rights, responsibilities and freedoms. In discussing matters such as diversity, choice, equality and liberty, this show, inspired by the words of Sophia de Mello Breyner, aims to be a tool to build a more just world - a reflection on the impact of justice on society.
