UM D. JOÃO PORTUGUÊS/ AS ÁRVORES (DOS DESGOSTOS)/ PRIMEIRO ENCONTRO: ANÁLISE DO TEXTO

In this megaproject launched by Luis Miguel Cintra after the closing of Cornucópia, with a group of actors with whom he maintains bonds of complicity, the mythical pair D. Juan and his servant Esganarelo arrive at Teatro Viriato, which co-produces the initiative in collaboration with partners from three more cities. In each city, in dialogue with groups of spectators, one of the parts of the text will be created, forming a great show (to be presented in 2018). D. Juan and Esganarelo, who Viseu will notice not to correspond to the pair of the healthy servant and terrible seducer known from Mozart's genius opera. This D. Juan is tired and drags himself from town to town with his servant friend, almost as a road show, running from the police that will sentence him to death for the murder of the Comendador, the father of one of the women he has seduced.
