THEATER
In October, 2016, around thirty young people from Viseu embarked on a journey called K Cena - Projeto Lusófono de Teatro Jovem, which Teatro Viriato is promoting for the sixth consecutive time. Throughout five months, the group worked to create a team, exploring an actor's work. Between October and January, Graeme Pulleyn guided this work surrounding physical and emotional expression, which ended with a presentation on the seven deadly sins. The second stage of the project focused on the themes of the grotesque and on the théâtre de l'absurde. The last stage of this theatrical odyssey will be guided by Paulo Miranda and João Branco, who will be responsible for creating a final show inspired on the work Ubu Rei, by Alfred Jarry.
