Music
Renowned as one of the principal names of portuguese folk music, Fausto Bordalo Dias kicks off Teatro Viriato's latest season with a unique and memorable concert.
Ever a standard bearer of portuguese language music and culture, Fausto Bordalo Dias invites the audience to revisit songs from each of the three records (Por este rio acima, Crónicas da terra ardente and Em busca das montanhas azuis) that make up his Trilogia (lit. Trilogy) about the lusitanian diaspora, considered as a truly essential oeuvre within portuguese folk music.
Much more than a concert, it will be a journey through the history of a country and its people.
