Throughout six months, youngsters from the Viseu region participated in the “Três Tempos” project. Together with musicians xullaji, a reference of Portuguese hip-hop, and Bruno Pinto, local musician and co-head of Gira Sol Azul, they wrote music, collected sounds, shared ideas, explored writing and recording techniques and, above all else, found themselves in music.
The result, now taking to the stage, is a musical construct made up of individual experiences that, throughout the process, the participants/creators identified and shared, always having as background music the rhythm and inspirations of the guiding musicians.
“Três Tempos” is a project developed by Teatro Viriato, Theatro Circo (Braga) and Culturgest (Lisbon). This second edition ends in a presentation of all three participant groups at Culturgest, on the 18th of April.
