THEATER
Three sad tigers to three plates of wheat that join the time that asked the time how many time does time have. Did you understand? If you didn't, pretend you did so that I understand that you understood.
What about if you repeat these initial sentences faster? Is it difficult? Perhaps, but this is the exercise of speech and literacy suggested by Anabela Brígida and Carla Bolito in Trava ou Destrava línguas, a performance built from rigmaroles, tong twisters and poems from several Portuguese poets. In this performance, phonetics, linguistic articulation and physical language are worked as a method of promoting the interacting between actresses and students.
By the end of the show, a little atelier takes place, where the participants are challenged to practice some of the most used breathing, concentration and speech exercises in the world of performance.
