Tropicália Lixo Lógico is the newest album by Tom Zé. The inescapable Brazilian composer is joined by young singers like Mallu Magalhães, Rodrigo Amarante, Pélico and Emicida to sing his theory about the explosion of tropicalism - movement that modernized Brazilian music in the 1960s - that was quite probably born in that logic garbage accumulated inside the hypothalamus of Northeast brazilians.
After his concert in 2010, in this "second coming" to Teatro Viriato, Tom Zé brings with him a new dose of his creative capacity and inexhaustible genius. Inventor of words and phrases, Tom Zé reasserts himself as one of the greatest lyricists of Brazilian music, intelligently using both popular and scholarly references.
