TERRENO SELVAGEM

THEATER

A comfortable room, tastefully yet humbly appointed. On the right side, in the background, a door leads to the hall. On the left side, a door that leads to a study. Between both thresholds, a piano. At the centre of the wall, a window. Near the window a round table with an armchair and a sofa. A child fell asleep in the sofa. Mom is inside, Dad is outside. On the walls, pictures and a movie poster.
In 2013, Raquel Castro and Pedro Gil premiered Os Dias São Connosco, a show that had, as a starting point, the video diaries both made for their daughter during her first year of life. Now the two aim to create a venue with writer Miguel Castro Caldas inspired by our unremembered first infancy. We keep searching for the meaning of life, this time in a house of cardboard where two actors play mom and dad.
