Tempo is a musical project pertaining to francophone music and its more significant singer-songwriters. While highlighting the importance of Jacques Brel and Leo Ferre, Adriana Queiroz invites us to travel through the emotional world of Barbara, the enchantment of Trenet, the madness of Gainsbourg, the surrealism of Boris Vian and the timelessness of Piaf who, while not being a singer-songwriter, is an unavoidable figure of last century French music.
In this concert, the created sound landscapes guide the audience to a strong scenic component, diving deep into the roots of early memories. Surroundings grow from the sound of a music box, the timing of a step, the swinging of a pendulum. To underline (or maybe not) all this sleeping world of memories, the audience will watch a video that accentuates feelings and emotions, taking them to the universal time of these themes: the present.
