The creation of a character is perhaps one of the most stimulating challenges in the art of theatre. To imprint it with uniqueness and still have it, at the same time, work as an integral part of a whole - in an orchestra performance even the solo artist will always be dependent upon the silence of other musicians - requires profound creativity and painstaking acting.
Bruno Bravo, stage director of A(s) Boda(s), follows this premise of encounter/confrontation between the "I" and the "us", suggesting the exploration of the chorus, challenging participants to probe this figure's dramatic possibilities, through individual considerations, trying, in effect, to understand this space where individual and collective co-exist.
This workshop culminates in an informal presentation of the collective work..
