Restating the desire to create a space dedicated to intensive training in the domain of dance, SUMMER LAB returns once again, thanks to a partnership between Teatro Viriato and Play False | associação cultural.

For five days, in the city of Viseu, three groups of participants dive into an immersive experience of practice and learning, exploring subjects such as Classic Dance, Contemporary Dance, Repertoire, Choreographic Lab and Improvisation, under the guidance of teachers and choreographers renowned within the national and international landscapes.

The intensity of the format allows each participant to develop their technical and interpretative capacities, expanding both their artistic knowledge and vocabulary. The aim is to allow them to discover and experience different choreographic idioms, pedagogical practices and aesthetic references, where each body broadens its horizons, challenges habits and stimulates new ways of relating to movement.
