After the success of the first edition, CPR Viseu/ Companhia Paulo Ribeiro and Teatro Viriato promote once again, in partnership, SUMMER LAB, an intensive dance learning programme that, this year, grows in the number of days and teachers invited. The second edition of SUMMER LAB happens during one week, through the course of the entire day, with classes taught by nationally and internationally renowned teachers, like Clara Andermatt, Rui Reis, Cristina Planas Leitão, Jiří Pokorný, Catarina Câmara, António Cabrita, São Castro and a teacher (to be defined) from the Hofesh Shechter Company.
The main goal of SUMMER LAB is to enable the access to a series of diverse artistic languages, creative methods, dance styles and practices; ranging from the dance techniques (classical and contemporary), improvisation, the creative process of a choreography, the dramaturgical concept of the body and the contact with the creative method and artistic thought of the choreographers David Zambrano and Hofesh Shechter.
With very diverse professional and academic courses, the teachers are profoundly and experienced experts in the matters that they'll propose to the participants, and the level of difficulty required from each group will be defined according to their characteristics.
The intention with this training programme is that it reveals itself as a privileged place and time for learning, sharing experiences elaborated and methodical and of development of practices to the construction of physical and sensorial material.
