SPYROS MANESIS TRIO

Formed by three young musicians of different nationalities, this trio was born in Amsterdam in the local conservatory.
The Greek pianist Spyros Manesis is the service composer, responsible for the standard arrangements and by the wording of the new themes. This trio is also constituted by the Portuguese bass João Hasselberg and the Lithuanian drummer Kaspars Kurdeko.
The understanding and the chemistry existing among these musicians helped the trio to develop a collective sound defined by the lyricism, a wide range of dynamics and textures, a strong interaction among its members and a remarkable spirit of improvisation.
