THEATER
What would happen if a theatre were to collapse and in its debris, only one survivor would be found: the point? The main character of Sopro is not an actress but a woman named Cristina Vidal, who works as a prompter at the D. Maria II Theatre, for over twenty-five years. Accompanied on stage by five actors and hundreds of ghosts, this guardian of a profession facing extinction will evoke the real and fictional stories of a theatre now in ruins. What theatre inhabits her imagination and her memory? What world can she let us see by using just her invisible sopro (breath)?
Sopro premiered at the Festival de Avignon in France.
