"Smashed 2" is the dark art of juggling revisited. Turning the tables on one of the most celebrated contemporary circus pieces of the last decade. Seven women and two men. This is a tale of retribution. This is the same but different.
Inspired by the work of the great choreographer, Pina Bausch, directors Kati Ylä-Hokkala and Sean Gandini have borrowed elements of her gestural choreography and combined them with the intricate patterns and cascades of solo and ensemble juggling.
