Paulo Ribeiro had already promised that 2014 would be a year full of joy and celebration because Teatro Viriato marks its 15 years of regular activity. In a partnership with Câmara Municipal de Viseu, the choreographer once again brings to this city his recent solo piece Sem um Tu Não Pode Haver um Eu. This time all box office revenue will go to AVISPT21 (Viseu Association of Trisomy 21 Carriers).
In Sem um Tu Não Pode Haver um Eu, Paulo Ribeiro is accompanied by the universe of Ingmar Bergman and several kinds of happiness. We witness the dance of a heart raw with hurt. An I that tries to conjugate the second person singular, saying "I'm you, I'm you too", instead of "I'm yours". The choreographer transforms into a seismograph of emotional tremors, showing us love, hate, anguish, marital strife, internal conflict and complete collapse.
