Sei Miguel chose the pocket trumpet as an instrument that plays the history of jazz. Producer, arranger and instrumentalist, he's one of those rare contemporary musicians that regard and handle jazz as a universe of human and artistic progression with, apparently, limitless potential.
The musician uses, in his work, advanced and unique timbre solutions, where one can find reminiscences of electronic, electro-acoustic and rock music.
Always in the forefront of jazz, the trumpet player has finally started receiving his due credits in a more generalized way, after a long career confined to the appreciation of specialized press and music circuits. At the end of 2010, the musician released the album Esfíngico - Suite for a Jazz Combo, with Fala Marian, Pedro Lourenço, César Burago and Rafael Toral.
