EXHIBITION
mon to sun 10:00am - 11:00pmages 8+at Galeria Teatro Viriato / Palácio Do Gelo Shopping · 2nd FloorFree Admission
This exhibition is the result of a project that freelance photographer, and Teatro Viriato associate, Carlos Fernandes developed throughout 2014.
In "Scene", audiences are challenge to read artistic objects through a different sandpoint, not the usual frontal view of the stage, but from the prompt side - a habitual no-go zone for the public. The photographer's objective aims to give, through his work, a proxy experience of witnessing the shows from the stage and not the stall seats. From his unique lookout, Carlos Fernandes sought to encapsulate other, rawer, dimensions, divested of all scenic embellishments.
An innovative proposal that sheds new light over the work of artists that climb onto this stage, and that creates an entire new conception of that space called Theatre.
