RUMOR DE DEUSES

Dance

* For reasons of majeure force, the presentation of Rumor de Deuses (09th and 10th December) had to be delayed to a date to be announced.

Mirror of a metaphysical celebration where the body is the communication vehicle par excellence, Rumor de Deuses explores a subtle physicality, that is at the same time exuberant in internal sensation and external image. Paulo Ribeiro, in this choreography, takes on a strange freedom of the soul.
In comparison to Sábado 2, Rumor de Deuses is a more contemplative work that allowed the choreographer to delve further into the exploration of new lexicons of movement and new situations from which humour originates.
The piece premiered in 1996 and is now revisited by Companhia Paulo Ribeiro with a new cast and marking the return to stage of Paulo Ribeiro as a performer.
