"Q de Quê?" is a show in question form, that wants to explore diversity, identity and gender expression. Biology and ecology set the perfect tone to understand the enormous complexity and diversity of the natural world. Throughout this project's research, Alfredo Martins and Luís Godinho came across the approach of biologists and ecologists, such as Brigitte Baptiste and Joan Roughgarden, that inject a queer POV into their research, bringing to the fore all the diversity of nature regarding affection, sexuality, gender and gender expression. From this approach to diversity, the artists attempted to create a show that helps dilute crystallizations regarding gender and sexuality, that even in our day and age put the safe and happy growth and development of so many LGBTQIA+ children at risk.
