Mateus Lagoa (Albano Jerónimo) and his wife Irene (Isabel Abreu) get ready to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary in a luxurious tropical island resort, leaving their teenage son dangerously adrift. Before their departure to paradise, during a night they have to unexpectedly spend apart, the side effects of the vaccines kick in – fever, black-outs, shivers, and hallucinations of various kinds. A melancholy disposition settles over them, their world seemingly fractured, capable of unsuspecting and dangerous promises.
This is the premise of “Primeira Pessoa do Plural”, a film by Sandro Aguilar, that Teatro Viriato brings to audiences in a very special session. After the projection, the actors will perform, live, a number of scenes that didn’t make it to the final cut. In this way, the audience can access bonus material, expanding their experience of the film.
