Between departures and arrivals, at the subway and train stations of S. Bento, Oporto, travellers cross paths, men and women with stories to tell and share, pulsating lives that draw the topography of this town. Three professional interpreters share the stage with residents of Oporto's historic centre, whose crisscrossing destinies map the city's state of mind while at the same time hinting at the country's current state of affairs and perceivable destiny.
After a cycle almost entirely dedicated to repertory theatre, with the staging of veritable classics of world dramaturgy, Ao Cabo Teatro sallies forth and dives deep into the intricacies of the Theatre of the Other.
