Por! is a radio performance with live spectator interviews, a dance and theatre show with a backdrop of cinema-style animation and a festive finale akin to a disco matinée. But Por! is, above all, an homage to the great heroes and heroines of love.
Based on excerpts of great poems an love stories, written by several authors, Patrícia Portela, Cláudia Jardim, Sónia Baptista and Leonor Barata join to question and confuse what love is.
Dressed in kimonos, leather or fine silk, they evoke those dedicated to the art of writing and describing the foolishness, the vulnerability, the frailty, the stupidity but also the beauty of being in love.
