Perfil Perdido' (Lost Profile) is a play by Marco Martins created for two performers and one voice. Starting from the representation of the father figure as a key element in western art and domestic daily life, the two protagonists go through the lives of several characters, their other selves, creating unexpected relationships and intersections - they have no age, no gender or defined body, they shift and change, creating fleeting and fragmented worlds.
The creation is based on an improvisation by Beatriz Batarda and Romeu Runa, assembled from their personal memories. The text and the dramaturgy are simultaneously a reconstruction, both true and false, of the biography of its interpreters and also of direct testimonies of other authors about their relations with paternal authority. Perfil Perdido' is a work in constant mutation, which now continues its existence and transformation on Teatro Viriato's stage.
