PEDRA - PROJETO EDUCATIVO EM DANÇA DE REPORTÓRIO PARA ADOLESCENTES

THEATER

The repertoire of a paradigmatic choreographer is revisited by three groups of teenagers, directed by three choreographers from different cities.
PEDRA is a contemporary dance project, created through four months of meetings by youngsters, with or without artistic experience, between 15 and 18 years old. Its starting point is inviting a renowned choreographer to share their repertoire so it can be discovered and explored by the group. The creative process is simultaneously developed in Oporto, Lisbon and Viseu, in  a spirit of co-creation between participants and a local choreographer, and accompanied by the guest choreographer. Oporto is the hosting city of this project's first edition and Clara Andermatt the choreographer invited to an exercise of reading, interpretation and fruition of her own repertoire. The ones guiding the teenagers on this task are Cristina Planas Leitão, in Oporto, Romulus Neagu, in Viseu and Amélia Bentes, in Lisbon.
