PANGEIA

THEATER

Pangeia arises from the research based on the 200 stories by the Grimm brothers. A sonorous and visual voyage through the universe of the two brothers, where the stage is transformed into an imaginary museum of curious objects. Objects that remit us to the universe of fantastic tales, like a forest full of traps, the black magic of a crystal ball or the spells made by the evil witch.
With them on this voyage are two investigators, who present their research to the spectators and, with the help of headphones and an mp3, reveal the mysteries hidden behind the objects that illustrate the stories of the Grimm brothers.
Pangeia (Pangaea) is a recreational and educational show, which brings several languages such as theatre, dance and the Visual Arts together on stage, retrieving the idea of "cabinets of curiosities" created in the 16th century, which brought rare objects and biology artefacts together, becoming the precursors of art museums.
