THEATER
Created and coproduced by Teatro Viriato, Teatro Municipal do Porto and Culturgest, o P3DRA - Projeto Educativo em Dança de Reportório para Adolescentes (Educative Project in Repertoire Dance for Adolescents) aims to make the youth, with ages between 15 and 18 y.o., without artistic experience, aware for contemporary dance. With three foreseen editions, the project is developed from an invitation made to a renowned national choreographer, with a repertoire that can be shared and discovered by the adolescents. In each city a group is chosen and the process happens simultaneously in Viseu, in Oporto and in Lisbon; in a format of co-creation between the participants, an assistant choreographer, with the monitoring of the guest choreographer. With an approximate length of four to five months, the creation process of each group ends with the presentation of a final public exercise, composed from the reinterpretation of the guest choreographer's repertoire. Annually, each of the cultural institution is the host of the presentation of the final exercises.
