The friendship between a ten year old child with leukaemia and a volunteer at the hospital's paediatrics wing is the centrepiece of Óscar e a Senhora Cor-de-Rosa.
In this hymn to live and the human being, Lídia Franco relates the touching experiences shared with little Oscar on her daily visits. They play a singular game together: each day that passes by equals ten years, giving the boy the sensation of time progression so that he can enjoy life through its various "ages". In the illusion of longevity, Oscar reinvents the world, challenging death with a funny look over the universe of adults and the other sick children. A wondrous experience witnessed by letters that the boy wrote everyday to God.
