The story of the first voyage from Lisbon to India more than five hundred years ago by around two hundred Portuguese men commanded by Vasco da Gama; a true story reinvented by Camões that revives some of the more relevant and dramatic moments of Portugal's History; an exciting adventure capable of making us laugh and touch us given its resonance in our individual and collective history. António Fonseca, the actor and creator of the audiobook Os Lusíadas como nunca os ouviu, brings back, through this performance, the first part of the voyage - the departure to India - told with music from Camões' verses.
