THEATER
premiere
More than telling a story, ortsnoM/Monstro invites the audience to play a game, solve a puzzle, search for the monster in the least likely places, (re)connect to the monster within themselves and dive into a world where the light mixes with the dark, where tragedy meets comedy, where beauty encounters the beast. It holds a mirror up to Nature. More than a line, the show is a star, a sun, a ball named Frankenstein sprouting beams of light. These beams (or scenes) are not unlike kinsmen, each with their distinct personality and facial features. The blood of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and of James Whale and Boris Karloff classic movies flows in the veins of each scene. But in a much unexpected way! ortsnoM/Monstro is the end result of the first edition of K Cena - Projeto de Teatro Jovem em progresso that Teatro Viriato founded, following the positive experience from the participation in PANOS - Palcos Novos, Palavras Novas.
