In 2012, in the city of Porto, this collective of Portuguese-Brazilian musicians was brought together by their common passion for samba. Under the name Orquestra Bamba Social, the group revisits several classic Brazilian songs, remaking them and adding sounds from different genres, such as jazz, funk and hip-hop. In the years since its founding, the band has performed in a variety of contexts, venues and festivals all over the country.
In 2020, the year of the pandemic outbreak, the group courageously released two records. Their first album, "Na Fé", is fully made up of original tracks, and features Marcelo D2, Teresa Cristina, Tiago Nacarato, and André Indiana.
This concert is done in the style of a Roda de Samba, during the celebrations of Saint Anthony.
