Dance
With a career spanning twenty years, Tânia Carvalho has given us a creative body of work that goes well beyond dance. Her creations wander through the realms of other artistic idioms, mixing dance, music, drawing and cinema.
With her new piece, the choreographer challenges us to depart on an oneiric voyage, about the power of travelling in your dreams.
The author puts seven dancers on stage, ready to fully embody the characters of those controlled dreams. This new creation comes to Viseu after its premiere at Maison de la Danse (Marseilles, France).
Choreographed and directed by Tânia Carvalho, Onironauta also has music by Chopin and by the choreographer herself.
