"Onde está o Zeca?" listens to these authors and tries to bring their voice to the fore, while performing an analysis of the collective.
José Afonso marked a specific time, but is still very much with us in the present. There rests, in the Portuguese collective unconscious, this idea of a face, of an individual that left the mark of his vision and a completely different way of doing things, that may yet return to save all of this. But are we not capable of doing it ourselves?
