What if every one of us had a master key to our Theatre?
This is the simple, yet very symbolic, idea with which artist and set designer Ângela Rocha paid homage to Teatro Viritao’s twenty-fifth anniversary. To make it a reality, she created a replica of the building in painstakingly accurate scale, inside which we can discover twenty-five different universes that evoke the past, present and future of this institution. Each window a veritable invitation to exploration and imagination.
The model’s interior was handcrafted using some materials coming from the Theatre itself. Since its unveiling, back in February 2025, more than six thousand people had access to Teatro Viriato’s master key. And they made this space their home.
