What if every one of us had a master key to our Theatre?
This is the simple, yet very symbolic, idea with which artist and set designer Ângela Rocha pays homage to 25 years of art and culture at Teatro Viriato. To make it a reality, she created a replica of the building in painstakingly accurate scale, inside which we can discover twenty-five different universes that evoke the past, present and future of Teatro Viriato.
In this interactive art installation, each window is an invitation to exploration and imagination. The model’s interior was handcrafted using some materials coming from the Theatre itself, exuding history. We can observe and get closer, just like Teatro Viriato’s team, every day getting closer to the community.
