Sofia Dias & Vítor Roriz, who used to claim that each play is some sort of punctual materialisation of research, today state that each play seems to them more like a brief overview of their own life. As if each of the plays reflected a (re)view of the world, of what it is to live, to destroy, and to build alongside another person, what it is to be on stage sharing intimacy with the audience, because every play has that simultaneously beautiful and violent side of exposing a person's imagination, which may be the most intimate thing they have left.
In the past two years, this duo has presented a number of performances in non-conventional spaces, in the attempt to isolate and question the elements of their research: the relationship between the gesture and the spoken and sung text; the way how objects inform movement and writing as a performative act or choreographical action.
This show is the culmination of this need to move beyond research into the conventional theatre space, in the attempt not to lose the immediate, playful, and unpredictable character that these performances have. An overview, especially, of what's left to do. No breaks, no blank spaces, no punctuation, in scriptio continua.
