Based on the book A máquina de fazer espanhóis, by valter hugo mãe, O Fascismo dos Bons Homens reveals not only the story of António Silva, main character and narrator of the novel, but also the history, present and past, of Portugal in a veritable portrait of our "true Portugal".
The group of seven actors that make this play has an average age of 36 years old, an added challenge of memory and foretaste. The memory of a time past long ago, that most of us weren't born to see, and the foretaste of a future time, normally distant and faraway.
O Fascismo dos Bons Homens is a venue guided by a novel that cruelly moves, satirizes and, most of all, reveals the ageing of all those that, with purpose and dignity, do not abdicate from making us think about their memories
