To what point can objects from our day-to-day be responsible for tremendous natural catastrophes? "O Estado do Mundo (Quando Acordas)" brings to the stage the cause and effect relations between small gestures and gargantuan consequences. Edi is an eight-year-old boy that consumes and discards a lot of things, until he receives an unexpected invitation... At that moment, he starts his journey through a world invisible to his eyes, heavily marked by the climate crisis.
