"O Centro do Mundo" captures and explores individual experiences within a shared environment, where the lines between real and virtual get blurred, and a community from an unknowable time gets formed. The duo Ana Borralho & João Galante invites us to enter an installation of light and sound, introducing a parallel reality that envelops us, with the help of VR goggles. Visited by different characters and their testimonies, the audience find themselves under the gaze of outside looks, placed, simultaneously, at the centre of the show and outside themselves; submerged in the contradictions of the contemporary subject. On the field of plurality, all dualisms are dismantled, allowing interior and exterior, body and soul, to establish a permanent communication.
