NOTHING'S EVER YOURS TO KEEP

THEATER

UNDER THE PROGRAMME · TRI-CICLO
In Nothing's ever yours to keep, Sofia Dinger reflects upon the processes of loss and construction for each person and upon situations, things and moments that no one keeps for ever. Like the departure of a parent.
In her performance, the artist shows the audience a very specific afternoon in which she taught her father to say farewell to her, or rather, to sing goodbye to her with the help of Tom Waits and the verse Daddy's never coming back.
Trying to turn a panic attack into something vaguely sweet, Nothing's ever yours to keep is a compilation of the inversions of the times, contradictions, simultaneousness, observations, hours and memories of the artist.
