From common questions like: what ellipses are these that surround us, how do they appear and why, André Mesquita reflects upon those inescapable gravitational pulls, points of no return that affect the life of each and every one of us. From this point of no return speak the voices of some performers that worked with André Mesquita, in 2013, on the creative process of Heaven ou ainda: tu, at Teatro Viriato. They speak of a state of surrender to Dance, that some found, but also of comforting evanescence.
Without running from people, their geography, their manners and personal worlds, the choreographer believes that the frontiers of pleasure touch us all in a similar way and that one of the great societal pleasures stems from entertainment. In this creative process André Mesquita and the participants tried to brainstorm possibilities in order to bring the audience something about... us.
