I'm still interested in finding ways to provide collective reflection, debate and sharing of ideas beyond staged reading. And not only between artists (...). To read aloud theatrical texts is to embark on a journey of discussion, reflection and thought around several themes. This has been the premise of "Noite Fora: Leitura e Conversas sobre Teatro", a project by Teatro Viriato, coordinated by director Sónia Barbosa.
At each encounter, a work or an author are chosen and presented by a guest artist. With no set themes, the range of choices may contain contemporary or classical texts and artists, Portuguese or foreign, known or unknown.
In this new edition, the choice of work to be interpreted will be up to actor and director Ruben Sabbadini.
