« We've come to the fifth year of existence of "Noite Fora". We can now use those delectable collective nouns: half a decade, a hand-full!
In these four-almost-five-years, we discovered that the perspective we choose to look through completely restrains our experience. This change of perspective, this flexibility, this capability to adapt to what's new, to embrace with joy the novel and the unexpected, has been an enduring part of our "Noite Fora".
At the same time, we've been growing, and we feel we are coming closer towards what we've been dreaming of. Weird... or maybe not.
The year of 2022 still asks us to look at rising dramaturgies, born from this kind of threshold between a before and an after, to which theatre is no exception. We're still looking for new texts, current texts. And we chose to focus on our Mediterranean neighbours, Spain and Italy, whom we'd like to pair with.
